constantly being complimented
By Richard | on Thursday, September 29, 2016
I have owned numerous luxury, sports and performance cars but none that draw the attention of this car. when out driving it is always complimented. Taking it on Wisconsin's rural roads is exhilarating. You don't have to go top end to have a ball driving this car. Taking corners and accelerating from them is fabulous. Make sure you have everything set before heading out as you will soon be in total attention mode. The car needs you to keep it on track.… - 5.0
Best vehicle I have ever owned
By EricCÂ |Â on Friday, November 24, 2017
My 1998 Ford Mustang had finally had it after 18 years in the Arizona heat. The Boxster is the best car I have ever owned. The superior engineering is evident every time I get into the car. The ride, the performance, and the fun are top notch. While it is rated 20 MPG city, I am getting over 23 by not driving it like I am in a race. The engine is so powerful, this is the first stick I have driven where I cannot tell when to shift by feel alone because the engine can handle much higher speeds at each gear than optimal. A few small nits: there is a combined passenger weight limit (recommended) of 400 pounds) which I did not see or read about before I purchased the car), the temperature control fan is always on when I turn on the vehicle even if I had it off (this is for the standard equipment) and the key is set up so that it is hard to put it on a key ring without blocking access to the key used to get into the glove compartment. Every review I read before I bought this said it was a fun car to drive and my experiences have been consistent with those reviews.… - 5.0
There is ABSOLUTELY no substitute
By Bluemax | on Monday, December 07, 2020
This is the best car I've ever owned. Gas, oil, very little maintenance. As far as handling, probably the closest you will get to an indy car. Get compliments almost every time I take it out. (I've even had people stop me on the road!) When Porsche revised the style in 2013, they nailed it.…
