The Mercedes-Benz S-Class also features a 3.0-liter V6 engine but it’s a biturbo model, one that outputs 362 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque. Despite being a more powerful engine, however, the new 2019 Mercedes-Benz S-Class is slower than its competitor. It has a 0 to 60mph acceleration of 5.3 seconds, 0.6 seconds slower than the Porsche Panamera. As such we must give the 2019 Porsche Panamera the win in the performance category.

The new 2019 Porsche Panamera has a variety of great technology features, including high-resolution 12-inch color display, rear seat entertainment system with their own 10-inch displays, night vision assists technology, four-zone automatic climate control, and more. The 2019 Mercedes-Benz S-Class offers these features in contrast: 12.3-inch high-resolution display, a Heads-Up Display, HD Radio, a rear seat entertainment system, COMMAND system touchscreen controller, and more. Both vehicles offer a ton of quality technologies for sedans, some of the best in their category, but the 2019 Porsche Panamera does take the lead in terms of luxury orientated and convenience systems.
