2020 Porsche Panamera

The 2020 Porsche Panamera for sale at Porsche Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania - near North Hills, Canonsburg, Greensburg, Venetia, Hampton, South Fayette, Robinson Township, Pine Richland, Collier, Gibsonia, Valencia, Treesdale, Nevillewood, North Park, Fox Chapel, and the North Allegheny School District - is the sport sedan with the superior styling of a sleek coupe. Its wide stance and muscular curves give this vehicle an athletic presence, but the rounded corners and sweeping silhouette make it a sophisticated sedan as well. Under the hood, the 3.0L turbocharged V6 delivers 330 hp/330 lb.-ft. of torque and has a 0-60 mph time of 5.4 seconds. Meanwhile the S trims have a 3.0L twin-turbocharged V6 that generates 440 hp/405 lb.-ft. of torque and cuts that 0-60 mph time down to 4.2 seconds. Both engines are paired with a brand-new 8-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung that provides more precise gearshifts in fractions of a second for nearly indiscernible transitions. Inside the 2020 Porsche Panamera, the redesigned interior includes a center console that appears to rise up toward the dashboard. Make the cabin a reflection of your personal style with customization options that feature two-tone color schemes and accent materials available in fine woods, aluminum or carbon.

2019 Porsche Panamera design

The silhouette and proportions of the new Panamera models are more Porsche than ever. Clearly perceived rounded transitions, powerful muscles, and a sharpened sports car silhouette emphasize the precision of the new design.

The wheelbase is a little more than an inch longer than that of its predecessor- the shorter overhang at the front and the longer overhang at the rear lend visual dynamism. The more prominent sculpting of the side profile creates the customary Porsche waistline and sense of lightness.

The Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS) on the Panamera Turbo includes LED headlights with 4-point daytime running lights as a stunning identifying feature.

New 8-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK)

Getting more power from an engine is worthwhile only when you know where it needs to go. And how quickly and effectively. The latest Panamera models are equipped with a newly developed 8-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK), which translates the tremendous drive force of the engine into the acceleration expected of a sports car.

Gears 1 to 6 have sporty ratios, and top track speed is reached in 6th gear. The 7th and 8th gears have longer ratios, which helps keep the engine speed low even at high track speeds-for efficient and comfortable driving over long distances. The precise gearshifts take place in milliseconds with no discernible interruption in the flow of power-as you would expect from a Porsche.

New Porsche Rear Seat Entertainment System

A cinematic experience enjoyed in the second row: the optional new Porsche Rear Seat Entertainment System has been specially developed to appeal to the discerning Porsche passenger, and offers a fully integrated and networked infotainment system. Both units are removable, making them convenient to use outside the vehicle, too.

The Porsche Rear Seat Entertainment System connects to Porsche Communication Management (PCM) via Wi-Fi to provide access media, navigation system, and vehicle functions of your Panamera. A wealth of entertainment awaits, thanks to two separate 10-inch touchscreen displays on the front seat backrests, an internal 32-GB memory, micro SD card slot, micro USB interface, Bluetooth®, and NFC (near field communication). Through the connection to the Wi-Fi router of the Connect Plus module, you also have access to the Internet and the Google® Play Store, offering up to one million apps, games, movies, music, audiobooks, e-books, and productivity applications.

Adaptive cruise control (ACC)

This optional system regulates the speed of your Panamera in line with the speed of the vehicle in front. Radar sensors inside the front end scan the road ahead. Imagine you've selected a cruising speed but begin to gain on the vehicle in front because it is driving slower-the system reduces the speed of your vehicle by restricting throttle or gently applying the brakes until your chosen distance from the vehicle in front is restored.

Your Panamera now continues to maintain this distance from the vehicle ahead. If it slows even more, adaptive cruise control will reduce your speed accordingly-even down to a halt. When road conditions allow, your vehicle will accelerate back up to the cruising speed originally set.
