Named for the man who laid it out, Colonel John Canon, Canonsburg, PA, was incorporated in 1802. The town's huge claim to fame is its annual Fourth of July Parade, the second-largest in the state of Pennsylvania with Philadelphia taking that top honor. Even though Canonsburg has less than 10,000 residents, over five to six times that number attend the massive parade that travels approximately 1.5 miles. The town also hosts a popular Oktoberfest each fall that attracts hundreds of visitors.

Canonsburg is a little more than a half-hour from Porsche Pittsburgh:

  • Take I-79 N to exit 59A to merge onto I-376 E toward Pittsburgh.
  • Take exit 71A for Grant Street.
  • From Grant Street, turn right onto Seventh Avenue.
  • Keep right at the fork, follow signs for I-579 N/PA-380 E/Ppg Arena/Bigelow Boulevard.
  • Keep left at the fork, follow signs for I-579 N/PA-380 E/Veterans Bridge/Bigelow Boulevard and merge onto Bigelow Boulevard.
  • Continue onto N Craig Street.
  • Turn left onto Baum Boulevard.
  • Porsche Pittsburgh will be on your left, 4627 Baum Boulevard.
